Closed Guard

Description

The closed guard is where you are on your back and you wrap your legs around your partner's waist. The guard will allow you to use your leg strength to control your partner's hips. There are other types of guards. For other guards see Guard.

Guard Posture
Good posture in the guard helps to prevent submissions and reversals.
