5 Tenants of Taekwondo Obstacle CourseHere is the text description of the course's setup and operation. (Video to come later.) Set up: 2 agility ladders opposite each other on the perimeter of the workout area. On one of the empty sides of the perimeter set up an large rings or and agility ladder, either work well. On the last side of the perimeter set up a plyometrics sections, in my version about 8 blaster pads depending on the size of the students may be larger or smaller. Now you should have the perimeter surrounded by a workout station. In the middle of the area you may place medicine balls or just have it empty for core workouts. Operation: Begin by placing the class in a line by rank, tell them to remember the person in front of them because it will be the person they will have to go immediately after. After that, have them start jogging around the area inside the ladders and plyo section. Designate a starting section for all students to start on, once the first person finishes the first section have the next person in line immediately go after them. This continues until everyone has gone. After you finish through all 4 stations go into the middle and designate an exercise to be done (IE. Sit ups, Crunches, Ab work, toasters etc...). After the middle and final section continue running inside the perimeter. You can repeat this drill as many times continuously as you want.
